Deconstructing the Clobber Texts

This spring I am working together with LGBT charity Seventh-day Adventist Kinship. I will hosting a series of 5 classes on the so-called clobber texts. These seven Bible passages are weaponised by Christians worldwide against LGBT individuals.

Naturally, I do not agree with the way these texts are interpreted.

The classes are open to anyone interested in learning more and gaining a deeper understanding of LGBT-affirming readings of these texts. You could sign up if you like.

I led the first class last weekend.

For people who cannot attend every week, I am recording summaries of what I discussed in the class. The first video is up on YouTube, you could check it out there, or below. More videos will come in the following weeks.

My blog posts and videos are free, and will always be free. People need to hear awesome takes on biblical studies. But I do need to pay the bills, and some support would be mightily appreciated.
